I received this wonderful package of 8 assorted Fair Trade Organic Numi Teas which included the flavors of Moroccan Mint, Breakfast Blend, Aged Earl Grey, Orange Spice, Chamomile Lemon, Jasmine Green, Gunpowder Green, and Berry Black.
This is right up my alley as I'm an avid tea and coffee drinker. I started by sampling the Jasmine Green Tea (Medium Caffeine) I could smell the sweet scent of the jasmine blossoms as soon as I opened the package. This green tea combined with real jasmine blossoms has a delicate, smooth floral taste and transcends a peaceful flavour.
Who could resist tasting a tea by the name of Gunpowder Green? (Medium Caffeine) Let me start by reassuring you it doesn't overwhelm you with the scent or taste of gunpowder. In fact, it's just the opposite. I like strong teas and this one has a very weak green tea taste.
Upon opening the Breakfast Blend (Higher Caffeine) I noticed immediately that it has a "woodsy" herb scent. This warm hearty blend of rich black teas, is even better with just a splash of half & half.
I look forward to tasting the other teas both hot and iced!
