29th Annual Scarecrow Contest:

Here’s your chance to design and build a scarecrow, and win prizes! Entries will be judged, and winners will be put on display at the farm on September 25, 2011.

Two categories: Scene or Individual

Prizes: Three prizes in each category:

1st Prize: $150.00
2nd Prize: $100.00
3rd Prize: $50.00 Pumpkin Farm Gift Certificate

Official Rules:

All entry forms must be received by Thursday September 22nd, 2011

Entrants are responsible for bringing and installing their full assembled scarecrows
to the Pumpkin Farm. Entries may set up beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday
September 23rd, and must be in place on Saturday September 24th by 5 p.m.
Absolutely no set up on Sunday will be allowed. Pumpkin Farm personnel will be
on hand to assist and supervise installation of scarecrows.

Winners will be announced at 1 p.m. on Sunday September 25th. Each scarecrow must have a vertical support of wood for the body, which will be wired to a steel fence post for display. All entries must remain outdoors September 24th- October 31st, therefore are required to withstand the elements.
